NHS FEES

Band 1 course of treatment – £27.40

This charge covers an examination, diagnosis (including any x-rays that may be required), advice on how to prevent future dental/oral health problems, a scale and polish (if it is needed), and application of fluoride varnish or fissure sealant.

Band 2 courses of treatment – £75.30

This covers everything listed in Band 1 above, plus any further treatment such as fillings, root canal treatment, and extractions if one or more of your teeth needs to be taken out.

Band 3 courses of treatment – £326.70

This covers everything listed in Band 1 and Band 2 above, plus crowns, dentures and some bridges.

Urgent Dental treatment – £27.40

Some benefits or exemptions (such as Income Support, or working Tax Credit) cover NHS dental fees, so if you are in receipt of any benefits please bring proof of this with you in order to obtain free treatment. Please get in touch if you are not sure whether or not the benefit you receive covers you for free NHS dental care, and one of the team will be happy to go over this with you.
